Total enrollment is 740 in grades PK-12th. CBDS is the 4th largest independent school in the Triad and has the lowest tuition of the four schools.
Admissions
The Admissions Committee seeks to identify those students who desire a Christian education and who are capable of undertaking and successfully completing the scholastic and behavioral expectations of our elementary through high school grades. History Timeline
1968- Kindergarten program established by the church.
1971- First Grade program established and grew to K-6.
1984- Middle School added to the existing PK- 6th program.
1997- High School program began with a 9th grade.

Curriculum
The biblically integrated curriculum, developed by professional teachers using educational research and proven successful practices, ensures that each child has the opportunity to advance as far as he/she is cognitively able. All classrooms are wired for internet access in addition to three computer labs on campus. The High School program is a college preparatory program featuring college prep level, honors level, Fast Forward classes through UNC-G, and Advanced Placement classes through the College Board. A variety of extracurricular activities (athletics, fine arts, service organizations, academic competition teams) is available to middle and high school students. Daily, students and faculty at CBDS join in prayer, and students learn to hide Gods word in their hearts through meditation and weekly verse memorization.
Testing 
The school uses nationally normed standardized testing. Stanford Achievement Tests: Reading 83%; Math 80%. Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I) in 2004:CBDS average 1060.
